Wake The Ancient Dreams

Wake The ancient Dreams

It’s a road we chose to ride

A lifetime load we chose to carry
Now a royal carriage for the future
Are we loyal to the ideals of our ancestry?
From the lineage of the keepers,
We became destroyers, eco – carnage.
The rich heritage, our inheritance
Nothing but empty shells of despair.
Fangs of natural calamities,
Craving for more carnage.

Call it, self – sponsored, self - inflicted,
A battle of oneself, within the self, against self.
Like a sailor in a leaking boat,
Chose not to seal the holes, or don life -safer.
Yet the tides rise in fury of a wounded beast,
And the waves roar with turmoil ashore.
The silence of the air, a sign of storm fall.
Let’s wake the chirping birds, humming too.
Let’s wake the breeze, that sway the trees.
Let’s wake the dreams, of the ancients.

Behold the rising sun, an array of hope.
The warm rays penetrating every alley.
The rain-soaked earth birthing a new colony.
The canopy of shelter and refuge arising again,
A home, a sanctuary, a fort to infinite species.
The sparkling water flows soothingly down.
The famished now have their fill unfettered.
The thirsty now dance in fountains.
The birds soak the air with paradise melodies,
From afar, The Keepers awake glow in delight.
